GAME PLAY
Recommended for two players. Designate a player to keep score. Set a timer.
Players take turns flipping cards and earn 1 point for each card flipped that has a word or words printed on it.
The player who needs the reading practice reads all of the words printed on each card. That could be both players or only one player. Suggestion: The “reader” draws or flips all of the cards. The other player keeps score on a whiteboard. Use tally marks to keep score.
Watch out for Boom! cards. Draw a Boom! card and you lose all of your points and have to start over again collecting point from zero. Other players keep their points. Only the person who draws the Boom! card loses their points.
After a Boom! Card is played: Select “Play Again” from the hamburger menu (three horizontal bars) in the left-hand corner of the game. Note: The deck isset to automatically shuffle when the game is re-started. Play resumes with the next player (the player whose turn it is after the player who just lost all of their points).
The winner is the player with the most points when the timer goes off.
If there is only one player:
Play to see how many cards you can collect before losing them to a BOOM card. You can play repeatedly, trying to beat yourn previous record.
